Thinking about the year 2014 raced by, I realized that this year brought me an invaluable acquaintance with one bright and cheerful girl. Oksana lives in Czech Republic for a quite some time and is a kind of “a window” on Russian culture, language and literature for local Czech students. I am glad to know that recently she became such “a window” for me as well.
In company with Oksana I feel like I’m back in Russia and just having a cup of tea with an old friend. This is not nostalgia for the native edges, but an admiration of the fact how amazing each of us can create around itself a special atmosphere that reflects our inner world. And it is quite funny, that we live very close here in Brno – there is only a couple of street to cross. Just like in childhood, when I used to go to see my friend from the street next to ours. And just like that in one December afternoon I went to her flat to prepare Oksana for a small photo shoot in the neighboring street. I am pleased to share with you the results …
We decided not to stop at this little shooting and try something more thoughtful in the future. I hope that the results of our experiments will do not keep you waiting. In the meantime, I would like to do a photo-story about our Czech adventures with my childhood friend – yet in the next blog post!
